Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Uptown Blanco Arts and Entertainment. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

• Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings that showcase our restaurant's unique flavor profile.
• Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily management of our kitchen, including inventory control, vendor selection, and food preparation.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all food preparation meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
• Cost Management: Develop and implement strategies to control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels, while maintaining exceptional quality and service.
• Guest Experience: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service, exceeding guest expectations, and driving revenue growth.

• Culinary Experience: Minimum 7-8 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with a proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen operations, and team leadership.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
• Certifications: Valid Food Managers Certificate, TABC Server License, and a good driving record.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
