Position Overview
The Guest Services Associate role at Chanticleer Inn presents an exciting opportunity to engage with guests in a distinctive boutique lodging environment.
Work Schedule
Shifts typically range from 6 to 8 hours, operating between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Chanticleer & Grandview Manager, the Guest Services Associate will:
- Provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests, aligning with the organization’s mission and values.
- Engage with guests through various channels, including in-person, phone, and email, addressing inquiries about the property and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests and transactions, including retail sales and payments, while adhering to cash-handling protocols.
- Oversee the daily operations of the main guest house, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.
- Maintain recreational areas and inspect the property regularly for maintenance needs.
- Facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs, including room transitions as necessary.
- Ensure the security of property and assets, following company policies and procedures diligently.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred, along with a willingness to learn.
- A friendly demeanor and a commitment to teamwork.
- Effective communication skills in both individual and small group settings.
- Ability to comprehend operational documents and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform various movements regularly.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive salary of $13.95 per hour.
