Rock City Food Service Partner

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Partner to join our team at Rock City Inc. As a Food Service Partner, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, operating a cash register, and performing other duties in food service.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional guest service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Model appropriate guest and partner interaction at all times, maintaining a professional image.
- Grow sales by upselling and promoting menu items.
- Operate a cash register to conduct transactions, including opening and closing procedures and daily deposits.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health codes and safety standards.
- Prepare and serve food, ensuring portion control and food quality.
- Restock items as needed, maintaining a well-stocked work area.
- Assist with cleanliness and organization of the dining room, windows, and doors of the restaurant.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the success of the team.
- At least 1 year of previous experience in food service or a related field, with a willingness to receive training.
- Possess a kind personality, a desire to contribute to a great team, and a willingness to learn or improve skills.
- Ability to display a professional, engaging, and polite image to guests and team partners.
- Ability to speak effectively in one-on-one and small group situations, knowing that your feedback and input are important to the team.
- Ability to read and understand operational documents.
- Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, efficient environment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, performing these operations using units of American money.
- Ability to provide a flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
- Required to regularly use hands and fingers, lift/move up to 50 pounds, and stand regularly.
