Finance Operations Manager for Automotive Sector

Position Summary:

We are in search of an experienced Automotive Finance Manager who will oversee all financial activities related to our clientele. This role is pivotal in assisting customers with financing options, managing necessary documentation, and promoting additional service contracts and protection products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates vehicle financing for customers, providing comprehensive insights into aftermarket products and extended warranties, alongside a thorough understanding of manufacturer and dealership service protocols.
  • Collaborates with customers to secure financing through various lenders for vehicle acquisitions, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Prepares and submits all required state and federal documentation related to vehicle transactions promptly and in accordance with established regulations.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of and adherence to federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  • Fosters strong relationships with lending institutions to secure favorable interest rates and financing options.
  • Partners with the Sales team to ensure seamless referrals to the Finance and Insurance department, equipping them with knowledge about financing and leasing options, as well as the advantages of our dealership's financial services.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support the department's objectives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Proficient negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and reliability.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities, particularly under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities, adept at multitasking and managing time to meet evolving deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in computer applications and internet usage, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with business applications and accounting software, such as CDK, is preferred.
  • Commitment to delivering industry-leading customer service.
