Right now is an exciting time to join the organization with a new ambulatory care center being built adjacent to the hospital The CEO is progressive and wants leaders with innovative ideas that can help continue the growth of the hospital and maintain excellent standards of care. They have a fantastic new CFO that just joined the team who has 30+ years of experience in finance, 20 of those years being in healthcare finance. The CFO is looking for a positive leader who can get the entire team on the same page for communication and project implementation.

The Vice President of Finance, in providing advisement and support to the Chief Financial Officer; establishes, implements, and maintains the financial operations of the organization, including fiscal controls, preparation, and interpretation of financial reports, safeguarding of the organization's assets, ensures efficient and accurate revenue cycle processes, oversees managed care contracting and optimizes finance related information technology. Develops and maintains overall accounting policies and controls, establishes, and maintains good corporate relations with third party payers and the investment and banking communities, assists in long-range planning and advises the CFO on financial affairs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years financial management experience in a hospital setting.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of total experience in healthcare finance, required.
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in a senior-level finance position in a healthcare organization, required.
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience within a finance control position, within a healthcare organization, and demonstrated knowledge and experience with revenue cycle operations within a healthcare organization, required.
