Position Overview:
The Automotive Finance Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing financial transactions for our clientele. This position involves assisting customers in securing financing, managing documentation, and promoting extended service contracts and protection products. The ideal candidate will ensure that all transactions comply with legal standards and dealership policies while enhancing the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates vehicle financing options for customers, providing comprehensive explanations of aftermarket products and warranties, as well as dealership service protocols.
- Collaborates with customers to secure financing through various lenders, adhering to all applicable laws.
- Prepares necessary documentation for vehicle purchases in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of relevant regulations at all levels.
- Establishes and nurtures relationships with lending institutions to obtain competitive financing rates.
- Coordinates with the Sales team to ensure seamless referrals to the Finance and Insurance department and provides insights on financing and leasing options.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience is essential.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Demonstrates professionalism and reliability.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities, particularly under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with business applications and accounting software is preferred.
