Position Summary:

The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to our customers' vehicle purchases. This role involves assisting customers in securing financing, preparing necessary documentation, and promoting additional protection products and extended service contracts. The ideal candidate will ensure that all transactions are completed efficiently and in compliance with legal standards and dealership policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates vehicle financing options for customers, providing comprehensive information on aftermarket products and warranties, as well as dealership service protocols.
  • Collaborates with customers to secure financing through various lenders while adhering to applicable laws.
  • Timely preparation of all required state and federal documentation related to vehicle sales.
  • Maintains compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develops and sustains strong relationships with lending institutions to ensure competitive financing options.
  • Coordinates with the Sales team to ensure seamless referrals to the Finance and Insurance department, while educating them on financing and leasing options.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficient negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and reliability.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities, particularly under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet changing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with business applications and accounting software, particularly CDK.
  • Commitment to delivering industry-leading customer service.
