Overview

Bohler is a leading land development consulting and site design services company that empowers ambitious individuals to become accomplished professionals. As a Sr. Survey Crew Chief, you will play a critical role in managing critical data for the survey staff and engineers to complete dynamic projects and fulfill client needs.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a team to perform boundary, ALTA, topographic, and construction surveys utilizing Robotic Trimble total stations and GPS with Trimble Data Collectors. You will be responsible for collecting and managing field notes, sketches, plans, and raw field data, ensuring efficient completion of all survey field work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Becoming the leader of the team responsible for all survey work completed in the field
  • Driving the efficient completion of all survey field work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Completing all phases of field work, including construction staking, ALTA/boundary/topographic/as-built surveys using Robotic Trimble total stations and GPS with Trimble Data Collectors
  • Managing and downloading all field notes, sketches, plans, and raw field data

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience surveying in the field using Robotic Total Station with data collectors
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods, standing on varied surfaces, walking long distances, and tolerating seasonal temperatures and weather conditions
  • Ability to perform projects within established time limits and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Passion for delivering an outstanding client and team experience
  • Strong communication skills and a self-starter mentality
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
