Position Overview:

As a Senior Cost Estimation Specialist, you will provide critical cost analysis and functional expertise in support of advanced military aircraft programs. Your role will involve collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance the development and maintenance of cutting-edge fighter jets.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Deliver comprehensive cost estimation analysis for high-stakes defense projects.
2. Support financial management for daily operations, long-term projections, and data requests from various stakeholders including government and military partners.
3. Contribute to the integrated development process by shaping system inputs and facilitating consensus within the program office.
4. Offer strategic planning, programming, and budgeting assistance to ensure effective project execution.
5. Utilize advanced cost analysis tools and systems to provide visibility into budgetary allocations and financial performance.
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish policies and provide essential decision-making support.
7. Implement robust financial management practices to ensure accurate forecasting of development and sustainment costs.


Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with the DoD PPBE process for significant defense programs.
• Proficiency in cost estimation methodologies and tools.
• Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
• Experience in data collection and normalization from various sources.
• Ability to create detailed cost models and innovative presentations for budget comparisons.
• Proven capability to communicate effectively with program directors and secure approvals for cost estimates.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Secret clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with CSDR reporting.
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
