Hotel Business Director

Days Inn Inner Harbor is seeking a seasoned Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of our local business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for formulating overall strategy, managing staff, and ensuring policies are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, optimize expenses, and ensure financial performance meets company expectations.
- Human Resources: Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure excellent customer service and high employee engagement.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve hotel operations, services, and facilities to maintain high standards.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues, including employee conflicts, guest complaints, and revenue decline.
- Experience: Proven track record as a General Manager or similar executive role in the hospitality industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
