Position Overview:

The Broadcom Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) is seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the financial operations for its Semiconductor Facility. This role is pivotal for the effective management of the manufacturing site, offering a leadership opportunity in a dynamic environment. The position encompasses a variety of financial management tasks, including forecasting, reporting, manufacturing processes, cost analysis, accounting controls, and financial decision-making.
  • Oversee month-end and quarter-end closing processes related to manufacturing, inventory, cost of goods sold, and capital expenditures.
  • Manage manufacturing and cost accounting processes.
  • Assist in the annual and quarterly planning processes.
  • Analyze and track capital expenditures for the FAB.
  • Conduct ROI analysis for significant business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with business and accounting controls.
  • Support division-specific internal or external audit requests.
  • Provide assistance for ad hoc financial analysis requests.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a public company.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to all organizational levels, including experience in leading and presenting to teams and senior leadership.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities, with a knack for problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing ERP/MES systems.
Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $164,000.

This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, as well as equity in line with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
