Position Overview:
The Broadcom Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) is seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the financial operations for their Semiconductor Facility. This role presents an opportunity for a leadership position that is essential to the effective management of this manufacturing site. The dynamic nature of this position entails a variety of financial management responsibilities including forecasting, reporting, manufacturing processes, cost analysis, accounting controls, and financial decision-making.
- Accountable for month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to manufacturing, inventory, cost of sales, and capital expenditures.
- Management of Manufacturing and Cost Accounting Processes.
- Assist in the Annual and Quarterly planning processes.
- Analysis and tracking of FAB Capital expenditures.
- Conduct ROI analysis for critical business decisions.
- Implement Business and Accounting Controls.
- Support division-specific internal or external audit requests.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis requests.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
- 12+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in a publicly traded company.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a semiconductor wafer fabrication facility.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization, including experience in leading and/or presenting to teams and senior leadership.
- Strong financial analysis/modeling and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams, and the ability to operate effectively at both detailed and strategic levels as needed.
- Experience with manufacturing ERP/MES systems.
The annual base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $164,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
