Salary Range:$55,000 - $70,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Operations Manager to join our team at one of our hotels in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front office function, ensuring staff are properly trained, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Director of Rooms in managing the front office function
* Ensure staff are properly trained and meet Sonesta's service expectations
* Oversee late checkout and stay over requests
* Manage room changes and showrooms for sales
* Coordinate hotel availability in the local area
* Prepare and print computer-generated reports as needed
* Ensure VIP arrivals are prepared and executed smoothly
* Assist in preparing for group arrivals
* Complete credit check reports daily
* Report/log all guest issues and update guest profiles accordingly
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 2+ years of experience in a front office role
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
