Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Mentor and develop QA/QC staff, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Manage and oversee corporate and project-specific quality to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and quality program requirements.
- Performance Improvement and Innovation: Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. Encourage and support initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and operational efficiency.
- Technical Expertise and Compliance: Ensure deep knowledge and application of ASME B&PV Codes, including Sections I, VIII-1, IX, B31.1, and B31.3.
- Safety and Risk Management: Integrate company Health and Safety procedures and controls into all QA/QC activities. Ensure all safety protocols are followed and effectively communicated to project teams.
- Certification in architectural, structural, construction, or engineering technology or a related field.
- American Welding Society (AWS) CWI Certification.
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in heavy construction with a strong background in ASME B&PV Codes and NBIC Codes.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
