Position Overview
The Dorchester Collection seeks a talented Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at The Beverly Hills Hotel. As a Manager-In-Training, you will be part of a dynamic and visionary leadership team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service and creating lifelong memories for our hotel guests.
As a key member of our hotel team, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of leading our food and beverage departments, ensuring that our guests receive the highest quality of service and experience. You will be responsible for creating departmental schedules, managing payroll reporting, and forecasting operational requirements to ensure seamless service delivery.
In this role, you will work closely with other departments and team members to ensure alignment and effective communication. You will also be responsible for fulfilling special requests from guests, preventing and correcting imperfections, and providing exceptional guest service.

You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will have a strong understanding of departmental operating standards and be able to create departmental schedules, manage payroll reporting, and forecast operational requirements to ensure seamless service delivery. You will also be responsible for fulfilling special requests from guests, preventing and correcting imperfections, and providing exceptional guest service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong understanding of departmental operating standards
• Ability to create departmental schedules, manage payroll reporting, and forecast operational requirements
• Ability to fulfill special requests from guests, prevent and correct imperfections, and provide exceptional guest service
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and departmental standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and hotel staff
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, human resources, sales and marketing, food and beverage, or business administration preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age prior to the program start date
• Must have completed degree in one of the above areas within one year of program
• Must have current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Must possess intermediate knowledge of computer software programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must provide own housing and transportation to and from work
