About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Writer to join our team at SAIC. As a key member of our Proposal Development Center, you will be responsible for providing full lifecycle support for Federal proposals, from draft state content planning to submission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and write high-quality proposal content, including resumes, past performance, and narrative volumes.
  • Collaborate with proposal contributors and stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant content.
  • Peer review and edit proposal artifacts to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Participate in formal color reviews and contribute to the development of proposal strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, English, Business, Information Technology, or Communication Arts, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of Federal proposal writing experience, preferably in solutions-based proposals.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Minimal travel, up to 10% may be requested for high-priority opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FEDSIM and Self-Scoring bids.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure modernization, applications/software development and sustainment, cloud solutions, warfighter solutions, and agile methodologies for defense, civilian, space, and National security sectors of the federal government.
