Job Title: Director of Training and Development

At FCH Enterprises, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Training and Development to join our team. As a key member of our Education and Development department, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of training programs in support of our growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model behaviors in alignment with the Mission Statement and Core Values of the Company, providing a deeper understanding of these principles to leaders and team members.
  • Manage new restaurant openings (NRO) training and training teams, staying abreast of the development pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with point persons on the real estate, marketing, HR, IT, and Ops teams to ensure timely completion of required tasks lists.
  • Coordinate and assist with the identification of local training teams, providing timely reports to the Leadership Team and other home office teams regarding the status of the opening.
  • Effectively partner with Regional Operations Directors to analyze operational and development opportunities, creating strategic solutions that support regional growth and expansion.
  • Develop Training Team Coaches to provide pre- and post-training oversight and support for new locations, driving the enhancement and execution of training plans for Zippy's new restaurant openings (NRO's).
  • Support the certification and Excellence Restaurants and Certified Trainer Programs in the regions, tracking certified trainers and MIT's in region from Orientation through 90 days post-certification.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years restaurant operations and training experience, with new restaurant opening experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with restaurant management experience preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and active listening skills, with a high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
