We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic individual to become a vital part of our expanding team of landscaping experts as a Landscape Team Supervisor. Position Summary: The Landscape Team Supervisor is an active team member responsible for leading and managing a group of laborers on various daily tasks, which include, but are not limited to, lawn care, property clean-ups, mulching, trimming, hardscaping, pond installation, and related activities. This role will transition into snow removal duties during the winter months, which is a requirement for all staff.

Upon successful completion of the probationary period, this position will evolve into a year-round salaried role. As our company continues to grow, there will be numerous opportunities for professional advancement within our organization as we broaden our service area. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

The Landscape Team Supervisor will report directly to the owner of the company and will be accountable for maintaining our high standards on a daily basis. Ideal candidates will possess a commitment to treating every property with care, value teamwork, demonstrate reliability, and maintain a positive outlook.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership abilities with effective communication skills to inspire and motivate
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to acquire new skills
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and complete assigned tasks thoroughly
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with landscaping equipment, ideally in a supervisory role
  • Competence in safely operating all landscaping machinery, including but not limited to zero-turn mowers, push mowers, walk-behind mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, etc.
  • Previous experience in snow removal
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Capability to drive a truck and trailer
  • Dependability, meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and integrity
  • Must pass a DOT physical (covered by the company)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily projects
  • Operate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure that trucks and trailers are equipped appropriately for each project
  • Guarantee adherence to all company policies and procedures, including safety standards, by all team members
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations to reduce accident risks
  • Accurately report any incidents or customer feedback
  • The Landscape Team Supervisor will report directly to the owner and will be responsible for upholding our standards every day.
