Job Summary:

Cinch Home Services is seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT Portfolio Manager to lead our technical project initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our portfolio of technical projects, ensuring successful delivery, alignment with business objectives, and efficient resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project management methodologies and tools to drive project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and drive strategic planning.
  • Lead project teams to deliver projects within set timelines and budgets, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive and effective risk management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors.
  • Measure and report project progress and outcomes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in senior project or portfolio management positions, specifically within a technical setting.
  • Proven track record of effectively handling large and complex technical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Background in portfolio management, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership and team supervision skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards project success.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, dedicated to delivering projects within set timelines and budgets.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) methodology, with the ability to align project goals with company OKRs and measure and report progress and outcomes accordingly.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering). A Master's degree is a bonus.
