Job Title: Environmental Assistant Project Manager

Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary technical assignments, ensuring timely project completion, and budget adherence through scheduling, progress monitoring, issue resolution, and fostering effective team communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure project completion and adherence to budget
  • Identify and implement solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients regarding project status and requirements
  • Track and manage environmental compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee and work with biologists to obtain, summarize, and analyze biological data
  • Support research for renewable energy, electric transmission, and energy generation facilities projects
  • Assist in the management and preparation of environmental documents and studies
Requirements:
  • Minimum B.A./B.S. in biology or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years consulting experience and 2 years of relevant project management experience
  • Practical understanding of CEQA and/or NEPA, as well as knowledge of other federal, state, and local environmental statutes and regulations
  • Excellent technical writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, strong time management skills
  • Self-starter willing to tackle a variety of tasks simultaneously
