Job Title: Environmental Planner

Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Environmental Planner to join our team in California. As an Environmental Planner, you will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments and permitting for renewable energy, electric transmission, and other energy generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct CEQA/NEPA assessments and permitting for energy projects
  • Develop and manage environmental studies and reports
  • Interface with clients and agency decision-making bodies
  • Ensure environmental regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental planning and permitting
  • Knowledge of CEQA and NEPA regulations and principles
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
