Job Overview

Position Highlights: This full-time role encompasses a variety of HR-related administrative tasks, working closely with the HR Team and organizational leaders. Key responsibilities include onboarding, recruitment, file management, administrative support, data entry, addressing employee inquiries, maintaining policies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Compensation: $20-$24/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Management: Assist in updating employee handbooks and policies, finalize job descriptions, and manage postings on internal platforms.
  • Onboarding: Oversee New Hire Employee Orientation, manage communication for onboarding, and ensure all materials are prepared and updated in the HRIS.
  • HRIS Management: Process employee changes, provide support for HRIS inquiries, and assist in maintaining the internal ticketing system.
  • Event Coordination: Organize employer-sponsored events and meetings in collaboration with marketing and leadership.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment processes, including screening candidates, conducting reference checks, and scheduling interviews.
  • Compliance: Support the HR team in meeting compliance requirements, including I-9 documentation and annual reporting.
  • Administrative Support: Provide assistance with clerical tasks, manage company-wide communication tools, and support office managers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in management or human resources is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Relevant HR certifications such as aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP are desirable.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of human resource principles and practices.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and HRIS systems.
