Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at EnerSys Advanced Systems. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge manufacturing processes for the production of state-of-the-art Lithium-Ion batteries.
Key Responsibilities- Review flight hardware drawings to ensure design for manufacturability and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Support new design programs and provide input to complex manufacturing issues.
- Generate assembly work instructions for complex tasks.
- Prepare and make revision changes to manufacturing documentation and processes to improve product quality and procedures.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tooling for battery builds and associated systems.
- Provide CAD drafting and design support for manufacturing.
- 0-2 years of manufacturing work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical preferred), Math, or Physics.
- SolidWorks/CAD drafting and design experience.
- Experience with spot welding processes.
- Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for work instruction authoring (Aegis Factory Logix).
- Experience with Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) equipment (mills, pick and place machines, robots, 3D printers).
- Experience working in clean room environments and under ESD protections.
- Familiarity with NASA standards and aerospace manufacturing practices.
- Previous work in an AS9100 facility.
- 3+ weeks of paid time off plus 10 paid holidays.
