Position Overview

ADAMS & MARTIN GROUP is seeking a skilled Real Estate Associate Counsel to enhance our dynamic real estate and development division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage issues pertaining to commercial real estate transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, easements, and related real property contracts.
  • Analyze and resolve title and survey discrepancies.
  • Create restrictive covenants for various residential and mixed-use developments.
  • Formulate additional agreements associated with the governance and administration of mandatory membership owners associations.
  • Support clients throughout the lifecycle of operating owners associations during development and sales phases.
  • Provide assistance on various projects as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Proven expertise in managing acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate contracts, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, and financing documents.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive legal research and analysis on real estate law, zoning regulations, land use laws, and environmental legislation.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Must hold a valid license to practice law in the State of Georgia.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
