Position Overview

ADAMS & MARTIN GROUP is seeking a skilled Real Estate Associate Counsel to enhance our real estate and development division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage issues related to commercial property transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale contracts, financing agreements, easements, and other related real estate documents.
  • Analyze and resolve title and survey discrepancies.
  • Create restrictive covenants for various residential and mixed-use developments.
  • Prepare additional agreements pertinent to the governance and administration of mandatory homeowners associations.
  • Support clients throughout the lifecycle of operating homeowners associations during development and sales phases.
  • Provide assistance on various projects as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Proven track record in managing commercial real estate deals, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate contracts, including purchase agreements, lease contracts, and financing documentation.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive legal research and analysis in relation to real estate law, zoning regulations, land use policies, and environmental legislation.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Must hold a valid license to practice law in the State of Georgia.
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
