Patient Services Coordinator Opportunity

Peachtree Orthopedics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to manage and coordinate the daily operation of our surgery center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service to our patients, physicians, vendors, clients, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the daily operation of the surgery center, including patient check-in, payment collection, and maintenance of patient waiting rooms.
  • Screen visitors, respond accordingly, and adhere to all company procedures and policies for receiving deliveries.
  • Answer and route phone calls, verify patient demographic and insurance information, and make appropriate changes in the EMR system.
  • Assess patient needs and assist with vendor drop-off, patient pickup, and other tasks as needed.
  • Review patient satisfaction scores and assess patient satisfaction comments to address areas of opportunity.
  • Formulate a comprehensive relationship with physicians and members of the clinical staff, and train new staff members.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and break room inventory.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Two years of customer service experience in a high-volume, multi-unit medical practice.
  • Knowledgeable in basic billing functions, basic clinical functions, administrative practices, and operational procedures in a medical setting.
