About the Role

The Office Administrator will be the key partner for all office management and day-to-day needs of our Nashville location. You will play a vital role in building a fun, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engagement activities and creative culture-building initiatives for the Nashville office, including coordinating with the Office Manager and People Business Partner to organize and facilitate corporate events and special functions.
  • Manage the daily office functions, supporting the leadership team at the location and other employees.
  • Coordinate building and maintenance issues for general repairs and updates.
  • Act as the Location's Ambassador and face of Velocity for all onsite broker/client guests, local vendors, and third-party visitors.
  • Maintain and manage the facilities of the office, including equipment, supplies, refreshments, swag, and ordering replacements/initiatives/improvements.
  • Manage in-house employee lunch process.
  • Support Executive Assistants with Senior Leadership-led events, both locally and non-locally, including the annual All Hands.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, including confidential information.
  • Perform clerical work for departments as requested by Executive Officers and Business Unit leaders.
  • Assist the office with travel bookings to various domestic locations.

Qualifications
  • Previous office administration experience preferred, but not required.

  • High school diploma or a bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
