Role Summary:
As a full-time Early Career Industrial Engineer, you will leverage advanced engineering principles to assess and optimize business operations, aiming to minimize inefficiencies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing advanced Industrial Engineering methodologies to evaluate and refine business processes.
- Collaborating with facilities engineers to assist in the strategic planning of new production facilities.
- Supporting Manufacturing Engineers in establishing performance standards and analyzing production metrics against established goals.
- Creating simulations of production processes for upcoming programs and conducting analyses to identify resource limitations, workflow, layout, and scheduling to meet delivery objectives.
- Analyzing data systems to uncover issues and drive enhancements.
- Leading process improvement initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and sustainability while demonstrating measurable outcomes.
- Providing occasional support during weekends or off-hours as necessary to uphold production schedules.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess experience or knowledge in project management within a manufacturing, quality, or logistics context. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, as this role requires a government security clearance.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience or coursework in project management.
- Background in manufacturing, quality assurance, logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with industrial engineering techniques and tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in collaboration with production operations and program management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Experience with data analysis and simulation software.
Work Environment:
