Lead Property Underwriter for International Accounts

About the Role

Our Property Team is in search of a Senior International Underwriter with established experience and recognition in the Commercial Insurance Market. A successful history in underwriting both Multinational and Domestic Large and Medium-Sized Corporates is essential. You should possess a robust background in developing international property insurance programs. Experience with underwriting Property captive placements will be advantageous. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and analyzing Property submissions concerning exposures and coverages while identifying and negotiating optimal positions for Corporate Solutions.
  • Underwriting for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Formulating strategies to enhance our standing on current accounts and to cross-sell additional lines of business in collaboration with client managers.
  • Preparing quotations, structuring programs, and presenting proposals.
  • Contributing to the evolution of our offerings to align with market demands and practices.

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in property underwriting for medium to large corporates, including in a lead capacity and managing insurance programs.
  • A strong network of brokers and clients.
  • Proficiency in utilizing underwriting tools and the ability to interpret and assess results.
  • The capability to manage multiple deals simultaneously without losing oversight.
  • A high level of energy and proactive behavior.
The role may necessitate some travel.
