We are seeking a highly skilled Senior International Property Underwriter to join our team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our Property Team, you will be responsible for underwriting complex property insurance programs for multinational and domestic large and medium-sized corporates.
- Analyzing and assessing property submissions to identify and negotiate the best position for our clients.
- Developing strategies to expand our position on current accounts and cross-sell other lines of business in cooperation with client managers.
- Preparing quotations, structuring programs, and offering proposals to meet the needs of our clients.
- Contributing to the development of our offering to suit the market needs and practices.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled underwriter who can demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. You should have a strong background in building international property insurance programs and experience with underwriting property captive placements is a plus.
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in property underwriting of medium to large corporates, including in a lead capacity and servicing insurance programs.
- Strong broker and client network.
- Proficiency in the use of underwriting tools and ability to interpret and judge the results.
- Ability to handle multiple deals in parallel without losing oversight.
