Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Robotics

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Greensea IQ. As a key member of our robotics development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for our underwater vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for underwater vehicles, including pressure vessels, electro-mechanical assemblies, and structural components.
  • Collaborate with electrical, software, and robotics engineers to integrate mechanical systems with other components.
  • Develop and test prototypes to ensure high-quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with the Chief Engineer-Robotics to define priorities and high-level requirements.
  • Execute concept development, prototype design and fabrication, testing, and progressive release-to-production.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • 4-7 years' experience in mechanical design and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Experience in a production environment.
  • Solidworks/PDM skills.
  • Excellent hands-on skills (assembly, machining, 3D printing).
  • Systems-integration experience (Electrical/Mechanical/Firmware/Software).

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000, a casual and fun work environment, and a complete benefits package, including full health insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation, holiday, and sick leave.
