The Outboard Engine Specialist leverages their skills to service, repair, and install outboard motors, navigation tools, operational systems, pumps, electrical components, and steering mechanisms.

  • Conduct regular maintenance on watercraft
  • Execute various repair and upkeep tasks
  • Document service records and repair reports accurately
  • Evaluate marine engines and electrical systems
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
  • Repair damaged machinery
  • Inspect equipment to detect faults
  • Clean vessels and tools
  • Manage equipment inventories, procure parts, and monitor repairs
  • Perform safety assessments
  • Transport boats from water to trailer
  • Work safely in both workshop and aquatic environments

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Mercury or Yamaha outboard systems preferred
  • Familiarity with 12v electrical systems, rigging, and four-stroke outboard diagnostics
  • Willingness to travel within assigned regions
  • Ability to operate machinery and vessels safely and efficiently
  • Collaborative team player with independent work capabilities
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to master diagnostic software
  • Physical stamina and capability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at interpreting technical documentation
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history
