We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Associate - Stock Team Lead to join our team at Michaels Stores, Inc. in Evansville, IN.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Stock Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Associates in providing outstanding service to customers, maintaining store standards, and achieving sales goals.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you must have a strong ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and provide support to your team members. You should also be able to communicate effectively with customers, address their concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of Sales Associates in providing exceptional customer service
- Maintain high standards of store recovery and merchandise presentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Provide training and coaching to Sales Associates to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Analyze sales data and make recommendations to improve sales performance
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 16 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a stockroom or customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and navigate store aisles comfortably
