About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team at Foundation Health Partners. As a Biomedical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment in our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and calibrate clinical equipment at a component level.
  • Perform scheduled/preventive maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and quality assurance on assigned medical equipment.
  • Repair patient care equipment, medical communications equipment, and PCs to board/module level.
  • Provide customer relations and resolve equipment service problems.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Technologies from an accredited college.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience within an acute-care hospital setting.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for company auto insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, AC/DC electronics, electro/mechanics, and hydraulics/pneumatics.
  • Proficiency in PC repair and Windows PC and network operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturer training or equivalent on Physiological Monitoring Systems, Anesthesia Systems, and Dialysis Systems.
  • Hands-on experience on two or more of the above systems.
