About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team at Foundation Health Partners. As a Biomedical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment in our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and calibrate clinical equipment at a component level.
  • Perform scheduled/preventive maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and quality assurance on assigned medical equipment.
  • Repair patient care equipment, medical communications equipment, and PCs to board/module level.
  • Provide customer relations and resolve equipment service problems.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong knowledge of electronics, typically obtained through an Associate's degree in Biomedical Technologies from an accredited college.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience within an acute-care hospital setting.
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturer training or equivalent experience in Physiological Monitoring Systems, Anesthesia Systems, Dialysis Systems, and Ultrasound Equipment is highly desirable.
