We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Patient Registrar/Medical Secretary to support a medical office in Brooklyn, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth workflow of our client's medical facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Main office reception duties including checking patients in, managing office communications, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information">
  • Maintain accurate patient and medical records">
  • Work with insurance companies to process claims">
  • Process invoices, bills, payments, and verify insurance coverage">
  • Evaluate and address patient concerns in a professional manner">
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Proven experience as a Medical Secretary or similar administrative position">
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, regulations, and procedures; knowledge of medical coding is highly desirable">
  • Experience processing insurance claims and working with electronic health records (EHRs)">
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills">
  • A high school diploma/GED and COVID/FLU vaccination required">

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
