Atlas Neurosurgery And Spine Center:

The Surgical Procedure Coordinator is responsible for organizing all surgical operations and ensuring that all necessary clinical and insurance coding information is gathered for the surgical schedule. This role involves scheduling procedures in accordance with established protocols and maintaining clear communication with surgical facilities and physicians regarding any changes to the schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate surgical appointments for various physicians.
  2. Respond to phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  3. Facilitate preoperative clearances and evaluations.
  4. Arrange peer-to-peer evaluations in real-time.
  5. Prepare the daily surgical schedule and distribute it as necessary.
  6. Ensure proper coordination with facilities for any special surgical requirements.
  7. Collaborate with insurance providers to secure prior authorizations for surgeries.
  8. Assist front office operations as required.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $21.00 per hour
