Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Serenity Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with managing all aspects of our residential properties, ensuring high occupancy rates, maximizing profitability, and maintaining a high level of satisfaction for both property owners and tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide guidance to team members to ensure compliance with tax credit regulations
  • Train team members on tax credit requirements, procedures, and best practices
  • Delegate tasks effectively to ensure all aspects of tax credit compliance are being addressed
  • Conduct regular team meetings and monitor team performance
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities
  • Work with vendors and contractors to negotiate contracts and pricing
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for owners and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven working experience in property management (Tax Credit)
  • High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Property Management or Real Estate License preferred
  • Deep understanding of fair housing laws and leasing practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills
  • Experience with property management software preferred
