About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Repair Expert to join our team at Mavis Tire Supply. As a Vehicle Repair Expert, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing various automotive services on customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle issues
  • Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks
  • Complete state-mandated inspections and oil changes
  • Replace worn parts and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • Possess an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • State inspection license(s)
  • ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5)

Work Environment

As an active position, this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
