Diesel Mechanic Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Specialist to join our maintenance team at our Norfolk, VA terminal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on our fleet of diesel tractors, container chassis, and forklifts.
You will perform preventive maintenance tasks, including tire, oil, and brake changes, as well as inspect and assess parts for damage and excessive wear. In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for accurately documenting repair activities in Repair Orders, detailing steps taken and parts used.
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company. The salary for this role is approximately $70,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Benefits include 401(k) and health insurance after 90 days.
This is a full-time position, with expected hours of 40 per week. The schedule is Monday to Friday.
