Job Description:

As a Finance Business Partner at Willis Towers Watson, you will play a critical role in supporting Business and Operations Leaders with the execution of finance tasks, including reporting, planning, and forecasting.

Your primary goal will be to provide insights and strategic support to BDA leaders, enabling them to make informed decisions that drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of P&L management, ensuring accurate revenue, expense, and profitability reporting.
  • Support the Segment Finance Director in managing key risks and opportunities within the business.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan in conjunction with the Operations Leader, ensuring alignment with the overall segment strategy.
  • Manage the month-end close process, providing timely and accurate financial reporting to business and operations leaders.
  • Provide robust financial analysis and develop options for decision-making, ensuring business leaders have the insights they need to drive growth.
  • Work with the business to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting, supporting the delivery of budgeted revenue and operating margin growth.
  • Escalate risks to forecast early, enabling response and mitigation.
  • Manage key relationships with external and internal partners, including finance stakeholders, to ensure the enterprise has access to the resources needed to meet its goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business partnering and financial planning and analysis.
  • Ability to understand commercial aspects of the Medicare insurance business and Benefits Accounts business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in the insurance industry.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and stakeholders.
