Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Producer to join our team at First Mid Bank & Trust. As a key relationship manager, you will be responsible for securing new business and retaining existing insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as insurance producer and generate prospects for new business through various channels.
  • Meet with prospects to build relationships, gather underwriting information, deliver proposals, and win business.
  • Primarily responsible for relationship management, new business development, and client account retention.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with team members and carrier representatives as needed.
  • Complete training and maintain licensing associated with job function.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent and prior successful insurance sales experience.
  • Insurance license and valid Illinois driver's license.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including computer literacy.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and insurance solutions.
