Position Overview

Role Summary:
As a Lead Systems Architect, you will take ownership of pivotal decisions and navigate through complex responsibilities within your domain.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assume responsibility for making critical decisions and managing intricate challenges within your area of expertise.
• Diligently work towards identifying optimal solutions for technical challenges, concentrating on essential information without getting lost in excessive details.
• Employ innovative thinking to address problems effectively.
• Develop design frameworks and research strategies that align with both current and future customer and business requirements in your product or process domain.
• Gain insights into clinical and user needs, applying this understanding to product development.
• Navigate and resolve competing demands across interconnected functions.
• Leverage teamwork and creative problem-solving to overcome challenges.
• Contribute to the technical strategy of the program/project or organization.
• Exhibit sound business judgment in balancing budgets, profitability, and vendor relations; comprehend business financials and the implications of decisions.
• Possess a thorough understanding of life cycle management phases and apply these principles in exploratory, new product development, or sustaining phases.
• Act as an independent reviewer during technical and design evaluations.
• Utilize your knowledge of technology, processes, and therapy domains to drive product design and solutions.
• Propose and implement solutions for complex technical issues.
• Be recognized within your team for your technical and process expertise, often sought for input on various matters.
• Engage with your team, potentially serving as a Lead Systems Designer or Product Development Officer for products, or as a subject matter expert on technical challenges.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with FDA, ISO, and IEC design control procedures, regulations, and standards relevant to your area of expertise.

Qualifications:
• Proven understanding of theories and practices utilized by teams outside your primary area of expertise.
• Ability to persuade management on decisions with minimal assistance, using both written and verbal communication.
• Function effectively in and may facilitate multi-disciplinary teams with guidance.
• Capable of delivering solutions that reflect an understanding of business objectives and cost considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Computer Science, or a related engineering field; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Over 6 years of relevant technical experience in Systems Engineering; prior experience in the Renal Care sector is advantageous.
