About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Architect to lead our design teams in creating innovative solutions for Life Science clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing world-class designs that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead design teams in the development of pharmaceutical and life science projects, from conceptual phase to design completion.
  • Design Development: Develop, modify, and review production drawings for Life Science facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Project Planning: Participate in the development of project schedules, scopes, budgets, and staffing plans, ensuring effective management of change orders.
  • Industry Expertise: Apply knowledge and understanding of FDA, cGMP, and other industry concepts, practices, codes, and procedures to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Design Optimization: Develop designs that integrate equipment, processes, and people, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and optimization.
  • Deliverables: Develop Process Architect deliverables across the Life Sciences industry, including Animal Health, Biotechnology, and Pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality reviews of production drawings and specifications to ensure design compliance with project, client, and industry standards.
  • Communication: Build effective relationships with clients, customers, and contractors, ensuring customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.
  • Business Development: Participate in sales and marketing efforts, identifying, leading, and managing key pursuits to drive business growth.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and present cost proposals and qualification statements, managing project budgets and cost estimates to achieve financial targets.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced engineers, ensuring the development of a high-performing team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 8 years of architectural experience, consulting preferred.
  • Certifications: Registered Architect preferred.
  • Skills: Expert knowledge in standard architectural techniques and procedures, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and expert computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, BIM, Adobe Suites, and 3D rendering programs).
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment, demonstrated critical thinking skills, and strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
