Responsibilities

As a Diesel Mechanic Maintenance Technician at Ryder, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Conducting standard component inspections and repairs
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer tools
  • Replacing defective components as instructed
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle repair and maintenance
  • A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
