We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Foods, Inc. in St Louis, MO. This is a unique opportunity to work with diesel equipment and be part of a dynamic maintenance team.

Job Summary:

The Fleet Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, documenting repairs, and ensuring a safe work environment.

This position requires extensive hands-on experience, a valid Class-A CDL license, and the ability to work flexibly, including overtime as needed. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including PMs and inspections
  • Document all repair orders and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel maintenance or a related field
  • Valid Class-A CDL license and DOT certification (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
