About the Job

This role is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel equipment, as well as performing preventative maintenance and handling road service calls. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class-A CDL license, extensive hands-on experience with heavy-duty mechanics, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, and other heavy-duty vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
  • Handle road service calls and perform emergency repairs as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of repair orders, parts inventory, and vehicle history
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class-A CDL license
  • At least 7 years of experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
