Capacity Planning Manager

KTek Resourcing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Capacity Planning Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the allocation and deployment of lab racks in data centers and labs based on demand, space, and power availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for demand planning and load balancing to optimize the use of space and power in data centers and labs.
- Manage the placement and movement of lab racks based on detailed analysis of demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
- Work closely with Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to ensure project success and alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and asset locations using advanced tracking systems.
- Analyze data to identify trends, predict future needs, and prepare detailed reports to inform decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address capacity issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards in all operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in capacity planning, inventory management, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in data handling and the use of spreadsheets and inventory/asset tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with technical program managers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a data center or lab environment.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure and operations.
