Position Summary:

The Employee Housing Director is tasked with managing the housing portfolio within their designated area while leading a skilled team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Senior Manager of Employee Housing to implement the housing strategy that meets both current and future operational needs. The Director will ensure that our housing offerings create a safe, inclusive, and vibrant living environment that adheres to all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the employee housing portfolio, including occupancy management, budget oversight, and facilities administration.
  • Develop and implement the Employee Housing strategy to align with the company's short- and long-term objectives, focusing on data management and strategic planning.
  • Lead a high-performing team dedicated to enhancing value, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication with local housing teams and leadership.
  • Establish and monitor capital plans, ensuring project completion and adherence to budget.
  • Deliver best practices across the organization as a key member of the Enterprise Housing Team.
  • Train and support the housing team in providing excellent customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee wellness initiatives within Employee Housing, ensuring alignment with the company's vision.
  • Address and resolve complex resident issues, providing necessary resources and support.
  • Contribute to the Housing Leadership Team to develop standardized practices that reflect the company's values.
  • Foster a diverse and enjoyable housing culture that enhances the employee experience.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in capital project management or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in housing or a similar sector.
  • Strong analytical and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Experience in budget management and revenue oversight.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and database management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.
