Position Details:
- Housing: Available
- Location: Okemo, VT
- Expected Compensation: Starting at $52, $62, adjusted based on experience
- Work Schedule: Full Time / Seasonal
- Experience Level: Advanced
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily instructional activities at the Ski and Ride School, manage curriculum, schedules, and class assignments, providing support as needed
- Assist with administrative responsibilities including recruitment, training, and equipment oversight, while addressing guest feedback
- Evaluate instructor performance, offering constructive feedback, recognition, or corrective measures as necessary
- Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies, participating in safety initiatives
- Collaborate with various departments and external organizations, providing insights on school operations
- Engage in leadership discussions to contribute to training and ongoing improvement efforts
- Perform additional assigned tasks as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Current PSIA/AASI or equivalent certification required
- 1-3 years of experience as a ski/snowboard instructor and 1 year in a supervisory role required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Physically capable of participating in ski and ride training and drills
- Fluency in English is required
The expected compensation for this role starts at $52, $62, with individual pay determinations considering various factors to ensure competitive remuneration.
